California hosted the Southern Boone Eagles at home Friday, Jan. 10. The Pintos came out on fire. After the first quarter the score was California 16 to Southern Boone's 7. By half-time the Pintos were on top 28 to 22. The Pintos held the Eagles to only 3 points during the third period extending the Pinto lead 42 to 25. The fourth quarter belonged to the Pintos as well, where they scored 30 points. The final score with California winning was 72-47. The Pintos were led in scoring by Jaden Barr with 14 points followed by Dylan Albertson with 13. Southern Boone was led by Skylar Jennings with 13, followed by Jake Salmons with 9.
In other action on Friday the Lady Pintos fell to the Lady Eagles 51-43. In the junior varsity games the Lady Pintos were defeated 33-24 and the junior varsity boys game California defeated the Eagles 47-30.
