California school prom held April 23

The California Junior-Senior Prom was held Saturday, April 23, at the Capitol Ritz, Jefferson City.

The tables were graced with simple decorations. The event included dancing, visiting, dancing, a senior march, more dancing, a photo booth and the coronation.

Near the close of the big event, candidates for Prom Queen - Sydney Draffen, Jackie Gammon and Lauren Ziehmer - and Prom King - Mason Albertson, Matthew Brown and Jarod McKee.

Queen Lauren Ziehmer and King Mason Albertson were coronated by the 2016 Prom King, Matt Oerly.
