Cole County Fire Protection District members were called to a mobile home fire Wednesday morning.
District reports show the fire in the 2800 block of Rock Ridge Road was called in by a neighbor around 10:30 a.m.
When crews arrived on the scene they found smoke coming from the structure. Firefighters found the fire by the stove in the kitchen area.
The fire was under control in about 15 minutes. The home was still considered inhabitable.
No injuries were reported. Fire officials said there was nothing suspicious about the fire.
