ELDON - California won on the boys side of Thursday's Tri-County Conference cross country meet while Southern Boone won the girls title.
The Pintos finished with 47 points to beat Blair Oaks (53). Southern Boone (71), School of the Osage (94) and Eldon (122) rounded out the top five for the boys race.
Southern Boone (52) edged Blair Oaks (54) in the girls race. School of the Osage (57), Eldon (78) and Warsaw (95) also finished in the top five.
Dallas Larsen of Warsaw won the boys race in 17:26.10. Kendall Reger of Versailles was next in a time of 17:59.60.
Trevor Porter (18:01.20) and Hunter Carpenter (18:12.30) of California placed third and fourth, respectively.
The top Blair Oaks runner was Cole Brenneke, who took fifth in a time of 18:20.50.
The top runner in the girls race was Ashlee Kuykendall (19:59.40) of Warsaw.
Alexa Newkirk of Southern Boone was runner-up in 20:13.20.
Taylor Scott of Blair Oaks finished third in 21:34.80.
