CALIFORNIA, Mo. - The California Lady Pintos finished in first place Tuesday in the Guy Rush Invitational, finishing 34 points ahead of second-place Southern Boone.
Versailles took third, New Bloomfield finished sixth and Tipton was seventh in the girls team standings.
Southern Boone won the boys title, while California took second and Versailles finished third. New Bloomfield placed fourth, followed by Tipton in fifth.
Tessa Edgar was a triple-winner for the Versailles girls, who won seven events. Edgar finished first in the 100-meter dash, the high jump and the long jump.
Tipton's Isaac Ashton was a double-winner in the boys meet, taking home titles in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs.
