The combination of California's Senior Night and Courtwarming made for an electric atmosphere on Friday night against Eldon, put the Pintos didn't fully power on until the third quarter.

The one-win Mustangs led for the whole first half via the hot shooting of Devin Lewis and Devin Degraffenreid.

But California (9-13) persisted.

The Pintos grabbed their first lead of the game midway through the third quarter, and after the teams entered the fourth all square, California dominated the final frame to claim a 70-59 win.

Wyatt Bestgen and Wyatt Percival have been California's two most impactful seniors all season, and each had a strong showing in their final game in front of home fans.

Percvial led the Pintos with 17 points, nine of which came in an entertaining third quarter in which he and Lewis seemed to trade buckets on opposite ends of the floor.

Bestgen, meanwhile, took over early in the fourth, scoring eight of his 12 points in the final frame to key the Pintos' to a small lead that grew in the final minutes.

California sophomore Isaac Ash had 15 points and hit the Pintos' only three 3-pointers in the game. Jacob Wolken added 10 points and three blocks for California.

Eldon, on the other hand, was far more reliant on the 3-ball, as 11 of the Mustangs' 21 made field goals came from beyond the arc. Lewis had three 3's and led all scorers with 23 points while Degraffenreid scored 20 and made six 3-pointers.
