John F. Matteson, Jr.

John F. Matteson, Jr., of California, MO, passed away on Saturday, August 10, at Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City. He was born April 15, 1948 to J. Fred and Virginia Matteson in Ft. Worth, TX. He was a Viet Nam veteran. He retired from the MO Dept. of Transportation in 2001. He is survived by his brother James E. Matteson, Hallsville, and his sister Nancy Aimonette, Naperville, IL, and his three children, Elizabeth J. Matteson, Kansas City, Erin V. Matteson, Jefferson City, and John F. Matteson, III, Ft. Hood, TX, as well as 2 granddaughters.
