Paul Kostopolus

Paul Kostopolus, 57, of High Point, MO passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO. He was born December 3, 1955 the son of William and Vera Norine (Loucks) Kostopolus at Loring AFB, Limestone, Maine. He was united in marriage on December 3, 1993, in Sedalia, MO to Donna Rains who survives of the home. He worked as a Chief Petty Officer for the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the NRA, loved to hunt and fish, and he was a big advocate for the 2nd Amendment. He enjoyed being with family and friends and was a grill master. Paul is survived by three daughters, Coral Zelachowski and Andrea Kostopolus both of Whitehall, PA, and Lindsey Roman of California, MO; four step-children, Leah Porter of High Point, MO, Rachel Kidwell of Russellville, MO, Jennifer Shoemaker of Eldon, MO, and Elizabeth Shoemaker of High Point, MO; one twin brother, Peter Kostopolus of Prairie Home; two brothers, William Marty Kostopolus of Belton, MO and Dalton Kostopolus of Sedalia, MO; two sisters, Sandra Sue Turgeon of Glastonbury, CT and Paula Kean of Independence, MO; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Georgeanna Kostopolus. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be at Henley Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Glen Golden.
