Flossie M. Hepler of St. Louis, MO, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Festus Manor Nursing Center, having attained the age of 92 years, 10 months and 13 days. Born on November 21, 1920 in California, MO, she was the daughter of Samuel and Bettie Sanders, nee Shipley. She was united in marriage to Charles Louis Campbell and he preceded her in death. On August 6, 1945, she was united in married to William H. Hepler and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2010. Mrs. Hepler was a homemaker and a member of Jewel Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO, where she volunteered for 60 years in the nursery. Surviving are her children, Charlotte Buhmann of DeSoto, MO, Harold Hepler of St. Louis, MO, Louis (Carol) Campbell of Weldon Spring, MO and Aileen (Ronald) Moore of St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews; her best friend Dorothy Pierce, and many other friends. Friends from California, MO include Rosalee and David Lehman. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, three sisters and one grandchild. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 8, at the funeral home. Rev. Herman Hargett officiated. Interment followed in Lakewood Park Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL was in charge of arrangements.
