Betty Lou Zimmerman

Betty Lou Zimmerman, 80, of McGirk, departed this life on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Sisters of St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo. She was born on January 6, 1936, in California, Mo., the daughter of Jack and Edna (Heather) Pace, who both preceded her in death. Betty was united in marriage on January 12, 1952, to Charles Zimmerman who also preceded her in death on April 2, 1987. She worked at the California Jacket Factory until she retired. She was a member of the California Eagles 4027. She enjoyed bowling, shuffle board, and showing horses. Betty is survived by: one grandson, Jason Zimmerman (Lisa) of Austin Texas; one granddaughter, Leslie Duggar of California; two great-grandsons, Mark and Kurt Zimmerman of Austin, Texas; four great-granddaughters, McKenzie Doggett (Zach) of Austin, Texas, and Lindsay Gillespie of Austin, Texas, Megan Duggar of St. Martins, and Lainey Duggar of California; three great-great-grandsons, Lake Woolverton, Dakota Doggett, and Oakley Doggett; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Coville; two brothers, Don Pace, and Jackie Pace (Margaret) all of California; two sisters, Margaret Koenke and Virginia Potter both of California; also several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by: one son, Mike Zimmerman, on May 29, 2009; two brothers, Jerry Pace and Charlie Pace; and two sisters, Dorothy Murphy and Viola Yates. Visitation will be held at 11-12 p.m., on Friday, February 26, 2016, at Bowlin-Cantriel. Funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, February 26, 2016, at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home. Burial is at California City Cemetery. Officiating will be Mr.Jack Bowlin. Memorials are suggested to Debbie Coville, c/o the funeral home.
