Duane Wicker

Duane Wicker, 83, of California, Mo., passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016, at his home California, Mo. He was born on December 17, 1932, in Ind., to Omer and Vivian (Gardner) Wicker both of whom preceded him in death. He was a lifelong farmer who had a strong love for God and his family. He served in the United States Air Force. Duane is survived by: his wife, Jeanette Wicker of the home; three sons, Tom and Mike Wicker of Ind. and Jeff Wicks of Okla.; two daughters, Karla Strobel (David) and Sheri Draffen (Herbie) all of Mo.; two sisters, Luellen Gustin (Gary) of Ind. and Pauline Ross of Calif.; one brother-in-law, Herb Keseman (Sharon) of Kan.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: an infant daughter Denise Wicker; wife, Judy Wicker and a brother-in-law, Fred Keseman. The family received friends at Windmill Ridge Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. A second visitation will be held at Erlewein Mortuaryin Greenfield, Ind. Graveside services will be held in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, Ind., with David Deem officiating.
