Eddie Howard

Eddie Howard, 52, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016, near Jamestown. He was born on May 23, 1963, in Tulare, Calif., the son of Harold "Shorty" Wray Howard who preceded him in death and Joyce (Bonds) Overkamp who survives in Tulare, Calif. Edward was united in marriage on November 19, 1983, to Becky (Sheldon) Howard who survives at home. Eddie was a graduate of Tipton High School in 1982. He currently worked as a forklift operator at Cargill and worked with the laborers union local 955 for many years. He enjoyed many activities in life such as mushroom hunting, deer hunting, fishing, black powder gun shooting, loved riding motorcycles with his son, spending time with his family and friends, and especially enjoyed watching his grandson play sports. In addition to his wife, Becky, he is also survived by: one son, Aaron Howard of the home; one daughter; Tyra Sheldon of Jamestown, Mo.; two sisters, Antonia Howard of Tulare, Calif. and Karen Vargas of Hollywood, Fla.; three grandchildren, Nathaniele Travis Squires, Samuel Arthur Squires and Myah Marie Squires; one great- grandchild, Nathaniele Travis Squires II. A Celebration Of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday March 19, 2016, at the Jamestown Community Building in Jamestown, Mo. Memorials are suggested to the Nathaniele Travis Squires College Fund c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.
