Bruce Wayne Gunnerson

Bruce Wayne Gunnerson, 61, of Lincoln, died Monday, June 5, 2017, at University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia. He was born on December 19, 1955, in Independence, Mo., a son of John Stanley and Mary Louise (Bardwell) Gunnerson. Bruce enjoyed playing guitar and riding motorcycles and ATVs. He had worked at Cargill in California and Swisher in Warrensburg. Most recently, he was self-employed in the family business, Boyer and Sons & Daughters Landscaping in Lincoln and was well liked by all of his customers. He is survived by: two sons, Orville Randall Scott Gunnerson and his wife Roberta of Latham and Christopher Michael Gunnerson and his wife Ronessa of California; a sister, Rochelle Bohannon and her husband Joe of Holden; a brother, Guy Gunnerson of Lincoln; several grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his parents, John and Mary Gunnerson, and two sisters, Alfa Louise Moore and Joline Hackett. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Proctor Park in California. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the family in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
