Inajo Fairchild
Inajo Fairchild, 71, of California, Mo., passed away on Wednesday,
February 6, 2019, at her residence.
Inajo was born on February 2, 1948, the daughter of Norman
Wood and Ruth Miller whom both preceded her in
death.
She was married at the Main Street Baptist
Church to John Wayne Fairchild on November 30,
1963, who survives of the home.
Inajo worked for Cargill in the Human Resource
position retiring after 36 years before taking a job
at the California School District as a cook for nine
years. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran
Church where she helped with the Bible School
each year and was very active at the church. Inajo loved sewing,
fishing, gardening, quilting, playing cards with family and friends.
Most of all she enjoyed being with her family and her
grandchildren.
Inajo is survived by one son, J. W. Fairchild and Rhonda Bedell
of California, Mo.; two daughters, Marlo Fairchild of California,
Mo. and Cecilia Peterson and Mikel of California, Mo.; one brother,
Troy Wood of Jefferson City, Mo. Inajo had eight grandchildren,
Travis Allee, Quintin Allee, Kesha Fairchild, Breanna Fairchild, Ian
Peterson and Owen Peterson. She also had three greatgrandchildren,
Ayla Jo Allee, Aidan Day and Parker Day.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Nathan Daniel
Gunn and Evan John Peterson. Visitation will be on Friday,
February 8, 2019, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, also at
the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Evandro Kopper. Burial
will be at the California City Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude's Children Hospital or
the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Radio Ministry c/o the funeral home.

Services, California, Mo.
