Joseph Neal Pardoe
Joseph Neal Pardoe, age 70, Latham, Mo., passed away Monday,
May 13, 2019, at his home after a struggle with cancer.
Joe was born March 3, 1949, at the Latham Hospital in
California, Mo., son of Earl and Frances (Neal)
Pardoe.
Joe served in the United States Army from
1969-1971, during the Vietnam War and in West
Germany. He graduated from Lincoln University
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
During college Joe started his career as a Corrections Officer 1 at Algoa Correctional Center. He
helped open the Correctional Center at Boonville,
Mo. Joe retired as Assistant Warden at Tipton
Correctional Center in 2003.
Joe is survived by his children: April (Rory) Stegeman, Amber
Bolin, Andra Pardoe, Aleah Pardoe, and their mother Rita Garrett
Cahill; grandchildren: Savannah, Alaina, Chatman, Isaac, Blaize,
Bentley, Brady, Brynn, and Jaelyn; siblings: Joann (Charlie) Suggs,
Earlene (Jodie) Heck, Kim Pardoe, Nancy (Clay) Dunn, and nieces
and nephews. Joe has cousins throughout Missouri, and the state of
Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law Andrew
Bolin.
Visitation was held Thursday, May 16, 2019, from 4:00
p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of California, Mo. with a
Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Tim
Redmond officiating.
Private Family Burial will be at Latham Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family
