Jewell Virginia Foster

Jewell Virginia (Allinson) Foster, 96, of Paris, MO, formerly of Jamestown, MO, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Monroe Manor in Paris, MO. She was born on June 13, 1917 the daughter of Reed and Loula (Fiske) Allinson, both of who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on December 10, 1937 in Schell City, MO to Lowell Foster, who preceded her in death on July 1, 1986. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Jamestown Baptist Church. She enjoyed cross stitching. Jewell is survived by one son, James L. Foster (Elaine) of Jefferson City, MO; three daughters, Virginia Brand (John) of Mustang, OK, Lowella Hays (Chester) of Washington, MO, and Betty Scott (Wes) of Eugene, MO; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother Clarence Allinson. There will be a private family funeral service. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Cemetery.
