Steven Lloyd Mims

Steven Lloyd Mims, 40, of Centertown, MO passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 31, 1973 at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, MO the son of Lloyd and Marcia (Gouge) Mims who survive of Centertown, MO. Steven was a 1992 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He was married on May 30, 1998 at the First Christian Church in California, MO to Rebecca Shores who survives of the home. Steven was a Warehouse Manager for Central Missouri Plumbing and recently worked at Summit Mechanical. He was a member of the First Christian Church in California, MO. Survivors include his wife of the home, Rebecca Mims; his parents Lloyd and Marcia Mims of Centertown, MO; one son, Grant Sherwood and fiancé Lindsay Valdiviez both of Jefferson City, MO. He was preceded in death by one brother, Vincel Gene Mims on July 18, 1983. A Memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Dan Rowlison. Inurnment will be at a later date in Centertown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 Noon- 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the funeral home.
