Johnnie Mike Malone

Johnnie "Mike" Malone was born March 7, 1942 in Ponca City, OK to Guy and Opal Malone. He departed this life on February 22, 2014 in Fort Wayne, IN. He graduated from Guthrie High School in 1960. Dr. Malone was a very accomplished individual. Among his accomplishments were graduating from Central State College in 1964 with a BS in Education, Phillips University in 1969 with a MS in speech and hearing science, St. Louis University in 1978 with a PhD in an experiential, Multidisciplinary six year program. Mike was certified in speech pathology / clinical audiology and child development, and learning disorders. Dr. Malone owned his own practice, Children and Family Health Care Services, Inc. providing speech pathology and clinical audiology services. His corporation also contracted with WesGen MO / Washington University. Dr. Malone was an associate professor at Lincoln University. He also enjoyed working with children at the Missouri School for the deaf. In addition to the above services he provided, Dr. Malone also was acting principle for middle and grade schools in Delphos, Kansas. Dr. Malone is survived by two sons, Robert (Lori), Fort Collins, CO and Joel, Great Lakes, MO, three sisters, Bobbie Cain, Sand Springs, OK, Betty McKnight, Muskogee, OK and Jerry (Cecil) Reece, Fort Wayne, IN., and a granddaughter, Lily. He was preceded in death by two sons, Andrew and John Malone and his brother Glynn Malone. Honoring Mike's request there will be no viewing or service.
