Marjorie Pauline Williams, 85 ,of Lohman, Mo. passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Moniteau Care Center in California, Mo. Marjorie was born on February 7, 1929 at Eminence, Mo., the daughter of Leonidas (Lon) Gates and Violet (Ward) Gates Clark, both of who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on March 8, 1947 in Mountain Home, ARK. to Christon L. Williams who preceded her in death on March 13, 1992. Marjorie obtained an Associate Degree from Linn Technical College in business. She was a longtime worker for Scholastic Corporation in Jefferson City, MO. and also was a day care provider in and around the Holts Summit, MO. area. Marjorie was a member of the California First Assembly of God Church for many years and also attended the Westview Missionary Baptist Church in Jefferson City, MO. Her enjoyments in life were centered around her love for quilting, crocheting, gardening and being with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Ronnie Williams and wife Suna of Clearfield, UT; three daughters, Carol Schwartze and husband William of Pittsfield, Il; Linda Armstrong and husband Thomas of Lohman, MO, and Jamie Henderson and husband Gregory of Columbia, MO, one brother, Lon J. Gates of Jefferson City, MO, two sisters, Betty Rayfield of Salem, MO and Dorothy Boss of Jefferson, City, MO, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Marjorie was preceded in death by one granddaughter Kelli Henderson and one sister, Rosemary Mc Bride. Funeral service were held Tuesday May 27, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment was at the California City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the "Family Of Marjorie Pauline Williams" c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home. Arrangements were under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, MO.
